Class action lawsuit from former law firm employees rejected

A class action lawsuitfrom former law firm Brobeck Phleger & Harrison employees has been rejected by a Bankruptcy judge. Some 300 former employees of the now-defunct Brobeck sought to file a class action seeking compensation from their former firm were denied Wednesday, though they can still pursue individual claims, among other options.

In his ruling, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Dennis Montali said he felt the current system of processing employee claims was working well.
